This transformation brings substantial benefits but also raises ethical challenges such as privacy concerns, hoaxes, and potential moral deviations. This study aims to analyze the attitudes of the Muslim community toward global technological trends and to assess how Islamic values influence acceptance, selectivity, and cautious behavior in technology use. Using a quantitative approach, this research involved 40 Muslim respondents selected through purposive sampling who completed an online Likert-scale questionnaire to evaluate perceptions of technological benefits, ethical concerns, usage intensity, and compatibility with sharia principles. The findings indicate that most respondents hold a positive attitude toward technology, as it is considered to enhance daily efficiency and facilitate access to digital religious services. However, cautious attitudes also emerge due to concerns about data privacy, negative content, hoaxes, and risks of declining moral quality. These attitudes are influenced by age, education level, and religiosity. This study contributes to the understanding of how Muslims adopt an adaptive-critical stance, accepting the benefits of technology while upholding Islamic values such as public interest (maslahah) and the principle of prudence. These findings highlight the importance of Islamic ethics-based digital literacy to ensure technology use that is safe, selective, and positively oriented.
Marviola Hardini, Ardira Yolandita, Fina Nailatul Izzah, Muhammad Rafly Ramadhan, Yasir Mustafa Kareem Copyright (c) 2026 Marviola Hardini, Ardira Yolandita, Fina Nailatul Izzah, Muhammad Rafly Ramadhan, Yasir Mustafa Kareem https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ https://journal.pandawan.id/al-waarits/article/view/980 Mon, 29 Dec 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Utilizing Digital Donation Applications to Help the Welfare of Low Income Muslim Families https://journal.pandawan.id/al-waarits/article/view/986
This study examines the role of digital donation applications in improving the welfare of low-income Muslim families through Islamic philanthropic practices. Using a quantitative approach, the findings indicate that digital donation platforms significantly improve access to social assistance, distribution efficiency, and transparency, thereby strengthening Islamic social welfare mechanisms. The research object focuses on the utilization of digital donation applications in improving the welfare of low-income Muslim families, specifically related to access to social assistance, meeting basic needs, and increasing economic stability. The research method used is a quantitative approach through the distribution of questionnaires to beneficiary families and users of digital donation applications, which are analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques to measure the level of effectiveness of application use and the relationship between intensity of use and improvements in family welfare. The results show that digital donation applications have a significant positive impact in accelerating aid distribution, increasing distribution efficiency, and strengthening accountability for the use of funds, thus contributing directly to improving the ability of low-income families to meet basic needs, reduce economic vulnerability, and obtain social support in a more structured manner. The conclusion of this study confirms that digital donation applications are a strategic instrument in strengthening the social welfare of the community, but their effectiveness still requires support from socialization, increased digital literacy, and the development of features that are more responsive to the needs of vulnerable groups.
Ageng Setiani Rafika, Shesilia Wibowo, Azzahrawani Ramadhan, Sherli Triandari, Hafiz Imran Copyright (c) 2026 Ageng Setiani Rafika, Shesilia Wibowo, Azzahrawani Ramadhan, Sherli Triandari, Hafiz Imran https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ https://journal.pandawan.id/al-waarits/article/view/986 Wed, 07 Jan 2026 00:00:00 +0000 The Role of Social Media in Raising Awareness of Social Injustice Among Muslim Teenagers https://journal.pandawan.id/al-waarits/article/view/983
The increasing use of social media has positioned digital platforms as a key source of information for Muslim adolescents, influencing their understanding of fairness, inequality, and social responsibility, particularly within an Islamic ethical framework. This study aims to examine how social-justice-oriented content on social media influences the awareness of social injustice among Muslim teenagers, focusing on content types, engagement patterns, and contextual factors. The method used is a mixed-methods approach that combines an online survey of 312 Muslim adolescents aged 13–19 with in-depth interviews involving 15 participants to capture both quantitative trends and qualitative insights. The results show that consistent exposure to educational posts, short narrative videos, and advocacy campaigns significantly enhances adolescents’ understanding of discrimination, economic inequality, and community-based injustices. Peer interaction and religious framing further strengthen the internalization of social-justice messages, while algorithmic personalization increases the visibility of such content for more active users. These conclusions highlight the strategic role of social media in promoting social-justice literacy among Muslim youth and emphasize the need for collaboration among educators, parents, and digital creators to guide adolescents toward critical, ethical, and faith-aligned engagement with contemporary social issues.
Adam Faturahman, Maulana Abbas, Ersa Aura Natasya, Meriyana Sunengsih, Maulidya Reva Aprianti, Omar Arif Al-Kamari Copyright (c) 2026 Adam Faturahman, Maulana Abbas, Ersa Aura Natasya, Meriyana Sunengsih, Maulidya Reva Aprianti, Omar Arif Al-Kamari https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ https://journal.pandawan.id/al-waarits/article/view/983 Wed, 28 Jan 2026 00:00:00 +0000
