Before You Submit

Authors submitting manuscripts to Blockchain Frontier Technology (BFRONT) are required to ensure that their submissions comply with the journal's submission requirements, publication policies, and author guidelines.

SECTION 01

Submission Preparation Checklist

Authors are required to confirm that their manuscripts comply with the following requirements before submission.

The manuscript has not been published previously and is not currently under consideration by another journal. Any relevant explanation has been provided to the Editor.

The manuscript file is prepared in an accepted document format, such as Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, or RTF, according to the current submission requirements.

References include DOI information or URLs where available and applicable.

The manuscript follows the journal's prescribed formatting. Figures, tables, and illustrations are placed appropriately within the manuscript or supplied as separate files when required by the template.

Citations, references, author details, declarations, and supporting files comply with the official Author Guidelines.

SECTION 02

Journal Description

Blockchain Frontier Technology (BFRONT) is a scholarly journal published by Pandawan Sejahtera Indonesia. The journal provides an academic platform for researchers and experts worldwide to publish original scientific contributions in blockchain technology, distributed ledger technology, system security, and emerging digital technologies.

BFRONT welcomes high-quality research grounded in theoretical, experimental, computational, and applied approaches. Its scope includes blockchain architecture, security and privacy, decentralized systems, smart contracts, and the integration of blockchain with artificial intelligence and other frontier technologies.

In addition to original research articles, the journal may publish review articles, mini-reviews, case reports, letters to the editor, and commentaries, subject to its editorial scope and current submission policy. BFRONT applies a double-blind peer-review process and supports open access to scholarly knowledge. The journal also encourages research that contributes to innovation, responsible technology development, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The journal is published twice a year, in January and July.

SECTION 04

Policy on Data Availability

BFRONT supports research transparency, reproducibility, and scientific integrity in blockchain technology, distributed ledger systems, smart contracts, decentralized systems, and related frontier innovations.

Authors are encouraged to make relevant datasets, source code, smart contract scripts, analytical models, protocols, and other research materials accessible whenever possible and appropriate. These resources can help researchers validate, replicate, and extend published findings.

Manuscripts reporting empirical, computational, experimental, simulation-based, or blockchain transaction data should include a Data Availability Statement describing access to the underlying data and associated resources. Legal, ethical, privacy, security, or proprietary restrictions should be clearly identified where applicable.

Data sharing should respect applicable privacy, confidentiality, security, and intellectual property requirements.

Reproduction Policy

Reproduction of BFRONT content for educational, research, or other purposes is subject to the copyright and licensing terms applicable to the individual article. Appropriate attribution to the original source must be provided.

Requests to reproduce content in books, other publications, or materials intended for wider distribution should be directed to the relevant copyright holder or editorial office when permission is required.

Authors and users should consult the article's copyright notice and license before reproducing, adapting, or redistributing published material.

SECTION 06

Submission Policy

All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's official online submission system. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all manuscript information, author details, declarations, and supporting documents are complete and accurate.

The corresponding author must be authorized to act on behalf of all co-authors in matters relating to submission, revision, and publication. The submission must not be under consideration by another journal at the same time.

Authors may be required to complete submission declaration forms and provide additional documents before editorial processing can proceed.

Peer Review Process and Editorial Decision

Double-Blind Peer Review

BFRONT uses a double-blind review process intended to support impartial evaluation. Author and reviewer identities are concealed from one another in accordance with journal procedures.

01. Editorial Screening

The editor evaluates the manuscript's scope, originality, completeness, and compliance with publication ethics.

02. External Review

Manuscripts considered suitable are sent to independent reviewers in the relevant field, following the journal's review procedures.

03. Reviewer Assessment

Reviewers assess originality, research contribution, methodology, analysis, clarity, and validity.

04. Editorial Decision

The editor determines the next step based on reviewer recommendations and the manuscript's suitability.

05. Revision and Publication

Authors respond to reviewer comments when revision is requested. Accepted manuscripts proceed to production.

SECTION 08

Organization of Manuscripts

Authors should organize their manuscripts according to the relevant article type and the official journal template. The following elements provide a general guide to manuscript preparation.

01. Cover Letter

Declare that the manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under simultaneous consideration elsewhere. Identify the manuscript type and disclose relevant ethical issues and conflicts of interest.

02. Title Page

Provide a specific and informative title, author names, affiliations, and corresponding-author information. The supplied legacy guideline specifies a maximum of 14 title words; confirm the current limit in the official template.

03. Abstract and Keywords

The supplied guideline specifies an abstract of 200–250 words covering the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Provide five relevant keywords, subject to current journal requirements.

04. Main Text

Organize original research using appropriate sections, typically Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion. Other manuscript types may require a different structure.

05. Acknowledgments

Acknowledge individuals who contributed but do not meet authorship criteria, along with relevant funding sources.

06. References

Use IEEE numerical referencing, with in-text citations in square brackets and references numbered in order of appearance. Include DOI information where available.

07. Tables and Figures

Number tables and figures consecutively, provide descriptive titles or captions, ensure readability, and cite each item in the manuscript text.
