The complexity of contemporary life is characterized by increasing individu- alism, social fragmentation, value polarization, and weakening social relation- ships. These conditions pose challenges to togetherness, social responsibility, and harmony within Muslim communities. Social civility is therefore impor- tant as an ethical foundation for addressing these dynamics. This study aims to analyze the concept of social civility from an Islamic perspective and its rele- vance to contemporary Muslim communities. The study employs a qualitative approach through a literature review of scholarly works on Islamic social ethics, adab, ukhuwah, justice, tolerance, and social solidarity. The data were analyzed through identification, classification, interpretation, and thematic synthesis. The findings indicate that social civility from an Islamic perspective is built upon several key dimensions, namely respect for others, social responsibility, justice, tolerance, solidarity, and behavioral self-control in social interactions. These dimensions serve as moral foundations for fostering harmonious, inclusive, and sustainable social relationships. This study contributes to the development of knowledge in Islamic studies by demonstrating that Islamic values function not only as guidelines for individual morality but also as an ethical foundation for the social life of Muslim communities. The resulting conceptual framework of Islamic social civility connects Islamic values with contemporary issues, in- cluding social cohesion, diversity, social responsibility, and the quality of social interactions within Muslim communities. Thus, this study is directly relevant to Islamic studies as a foundation of values for addressing social issues in Muslim communities and strengthens a multidisciplinary approach to understanding the relationship between Islamic ethics and the dynamics of contemporary social life.
