Digital Archiving & Preservation
Startupreneur Business Digital (SABDA) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of all published scholarly content. The journal recognizes the importance of maintaining permanent access to scholarly records and implementing reliable preservation mechanisms to safeguard published materials for future generations of researchers, practitioners, and policymakers.
The journal uses the following digital archiving and preservation systems:
- GARUDA (Garba Rujukan Digital): For the preservation, indexing, and dissemination of Indonesian scholarly publications.
- PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): For long-term digital preservation of journal content published through Open Journal Systems (OJS).
- LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): For distributed preservation and backup of published journal content through a decentralized network of participating institutions.
- CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): For long-term preservation and continued access to the scholarly record through a trusted dark archive system.
These systems help protect SABDA's published content against data loss, technical failures, cybersecurity threats, system disruptions, and other unforeseen circumstances that may affect the availability of the journal website. Through the implementation of multiple preservation mechanisms, SABDA ensures that published articles remain permanently accessible, discoverable, and usable by the global scholarly community.
The journal periodically reviews and updates its digital preservation practices to ensure the long-term availability, reliability, authenticity, and integrity of its publications in accordance with international standards for scholarly publishing and digital archiving.
