Innovative Sharia and AI-Enhanced Educational Management: This scope merges Sharia Management in Education with Artificial Intelligence in Education, focusing on how Islamic principles can be integrated with AI to enhance educational governance, personalize learning, and improve administrative efficiency.

Technology for Vocational Education with Emphasis on Digital Skills: This focus will explore curriculum innovation, examining how educational institutions can prepare students for an industry increasingly dominated by automation and digital technologies. Process Peer Review (Doble Blind)

Jurnal MENTARI  uses a Double-blind review process for each submitted paper. Please see the Editorial and Publishing Cycle for details on our Peer Review Policy.

  1. Articles accepted for processing are articles that comply with the journal writing framework specified in the following this link.
  2. Articles accepted for processing are articles that comply with the Author Instructions at the following this link.
  3. The article review process is divided into 2 stages, review by the Editor and Reviewer.
  4. The review process by the Editor will involve a process of checking article writing where the only articles approved are articles written in accordance with the template.
  5. After the article review process by the Editor, the article will be processed again to be scanned for plagiarism where the only articles that pass the Editor's review stage are articles with scanned results.
  6. Journals that have passed the review stage by the Editor will be reviewed again by 2 reviewers.
  7. Articles will be reviewed by reviewers for a maximum of 14 working days .
  8. The reviewer assessment process is completely based on the results of the reviewer's assessment.
  9. The revision process from reviewers is no later than 7 days after the review results are sent.
  10. Revision submissions that exceed the specified limit will be automatically rejected .
  11. Articles must be original with a plagiarism level of <20%.

Publication Schedule

The Jurnal MENTARI is published twice a year with 1 volume every 6 months in September and March. Article submissions can be accepted at any time and will be published in a future issue. For each issue, there will be 10 papers. In one year, there will be 20 papers.

Notification of Acceptance: 8 Weeks from Delivery Date.

Archiving

The journal uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and allows those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.

The Jurnal MENTARI provides direct open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports increased global knowledge exchange. Article is published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) International License which permits use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium provided the original work is properly cited.

Jurnal MENTARI: Manajemen, Pendidikan dan Teknologi Informasi has complied with I4OC standards for open citation, which means all content is available for free without charge to users or institutions. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full-text articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or author as long as the original author is acknowledged as stated in the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Author Publication Ethics

Jurnal MENTARI: Manajemen, Pendidikan dan Teknologi Informasi is a scientific journal of the highest quality as a result of research from various world researchers within the scope of Management, Education and Information Technology. Mentari Journal is part of Pandawan Sejahtera Indonesia, and is supported by the Alphabet Incubator as a forum for presenting research results conceptually, experimentally, and technically for all researchers in the world which is published every March and September.

Author Duties and Responsibilities

  1. The author states that the manuscript is an original work and that the manuscript has never been published before and is not being considered for publication elsewhere and has never been published before.
  2. The author declares that all authors have approved this publication and there is no conflict of interest.
  3. The author confirms that the manuscript listed on the title page has made a significant contribution to the work, has read the manuscript, proven the validity and legitimacy of the data and interpretation, and approved the submission.
  4. The author confirms that the paper now submitted does not copy or plagiarize versions of some other published work.
  5. The author states that he will not submit the paper for publication in another journal until a decision is made by the editor of the MENTARI Journal.
  6. If the paper is finally accepted by the journal for publication, the author confirms that he will immediately publish the paper or withdraw it in accordance with the withdrawal policy.

Duties and Responsibilities of Journal Manager

  1. Determine the name of the journal, scientific scope, frequency of publication, and accreditation if necessary.
  2. Select members of the editorial board.
  3. Determine the relationship between publishers, editors, bestari partners, and other related parties through contracts.
  4. Respect the confidentiality of information for researchers, writers, editors, and review partners.
  5. Implement the norms and provisions of intellectual property rights, especially copyright.
  6. Review journal policies and communicate them to authors, editorial board, review partners, and readers.
  7. Develop a code of ethics guide for editors and bestari partners.
  8. Publish journals regularly.
  9. Ensure the availability of funds for the sustainability of journal publication.
  10. Build cooperation and marketing networks.

Editor's Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Meet the needs of readers and writers.
  2. Continue to improve the quality of publications.
  3. Implement procedures to ensure the quality of published written work.
  4. Promote freedom of opinion objectively.
  5. Maintain the integrity of the author's academic track record.
  6. Deliver corrections, clarifications, withdrawals, and apologies when necessary.
  7. Responsible for the style and format of the written work, while the content and statements in the written work are the responsibility of the writer.
  8. Actively solicit input from authors, readers, publisher partners, and editorial board members to improve the quality of publications.
  9. Encourage assessment of the journal if there are findings.
  10. Support initiatives to reduce research and publication errors by asking authors to attach an Ethical Clearance form approved by the Ethical Clearance Commission.
  11. Support initiatives to educate researchers about publication ethics.
  12. Review the impact of publication policies on the attitudes of authors and bestari partners and improve them to increase responsibility and reduce errors.
  13. Be open to new views or opinions that may conflict with personal views.
  14. Do not impose personal opinions, authors, or third parties which could result in non-objective decisions.
  15. Encourage writers to improve their written work until it is suitable for publication.

Duties and Responsibilities of Bestari Partners

  1. The editor is given the task of reviewing the written work and submitting the results of the review to the editor as material for determining the suitability of publication.
  2. You are not allowed to review written works that have direct or indirect involvement with him.
  3. Maintain the author's confidentiality by not disseminating the results of corrections, suggestions, and recommendations, as well as providing constructive criticism and input.
  4. Encourage writers to improve their written work.
  5. Review written work that has been corrected in accordance with established standards.
  6. Conduct timely reviews in accordance with the style of the publishing environment based on scientific principles, including data collection methods, legality of authors, conclusions, and others.

Waiver Policy

A partial waiver or waiver of the author's fee can be decided by the editor in the event of a lack of funds, the length of the submitted manuscript, or other reasonable reasons given by the author during submission. The author must indicate that he or she is requesting a waiver in a comment in the Editor's box during their request. A waiver will likely be denied if not requested at this stage. Waivers will not affect the outcome of the review.
