Our Commitment to Open Access

Blockchain Frontier Technology (BFRONT) is a fully open access journal. All published articles are freely available online to readers immediately upon publication, without subscription fees or access restrictions.

BFRONT supports open scholarly communication and promotes the accessibility, discoverability, and reuse of scientific research. The journal also supports the principles of the Initiative for Open Citations (I4OC) to encourage open and accessible citation metadata.

Articles published by BFRONT are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), subject to the applicable publication terms.

Attribution Requirements

When sharing or adapting material published by BFRONT, users must provide appropriate credit, include a link to the license, and indicate whether changes have been made. Recommended Attribution Elements

License Conditions & Notices

01. No Additional Restrictions

Users may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from exercising the rights granted by the license.

02. Exceptions and Limitations

The license does not apply to elements of the material in the public domain or to uses permitted by applicable exceptions and limitations.

03. No Warranties

The license provides no warranties. Additional rights, including privacy, publicity, or moral rights, may affect how the material can be used. Users are responsible for determining whether additional permissions are necessary for their intended use.

Author Copyright and Publishing Rights

Authors who publish with BFRONT Journal agree to the following copyright and publishing terms:

Copyright Retention and First Publication

Authors retain copyright of their work and grant BFRONT Journal the right of first publication. The published work is simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, which allows others to share and adapt the work, provided that appropriate acknowledgement of authorship and initial publication in BFRONT is given and the applicable license terms are followed.

Additional Distribution Arrangements

Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of their work, such as depositing it in an institutional repository or publishing it in a book, provided that the initial publication in BFRONT is appropriately acknowledged.

Online Sharing and Self-Archiving

Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online, for example, in institutional repositories or on their personal or institutional websites, before and during the submission process. Such sharing may facilitate productive academic exchange, increase the visibility of the research, and contribute to earlier and greater citation of published work.

Open Knowledge, Responsible Sharing

BFRONT encourages the broad dissemination of scientific knowledge while recognizing author copyright, proper attribution, and the terms of the applicable open access license.
