PEER REVIEW PROCESS
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Journal of Blockchain Frontier Technology (B-FRONT) Journal are first received by the Editor-in-Chief, who assigns a Handling Editor responsible for managing the review process. The assigned editor then conducts a desk review to assess the manuscript’s suitability with the journal’s aims and scope, compliance with submission guidelines, originality, and ethical standards. Only manuscripts that successfully pass this desk review proceed to the external peer review stage.
Manuscripts that meet the initial requirements are assigned to at least two independent experts in the relevant field through a double-blind peer review process. During the review process, the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous, ensuring an impartial, objective, and unbiased evaluation.
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on several criteria, including:
• originality and novelty;
• scientific significance and contribution;
• methodological rigor;
• quality of data analysis and interpretation;
• clarity of presentation and organization;
• validity of conclusions; and
• compliance with research and publication ethics.
Reviewers provide detailed comments and recommendations, including one of the following outcomes:
• Accept;
• Minor Revision;
• Major Revision; or
• Reject.
The Editor-in-Chief or Handling Editor makes the final editorial decision by considering the reviewers’ recommendations while maintaining editorial independence.
For manuscripts requiring revision, authors must submit:
• a revised manuscript addressing all reviewer comments; and
• a detailed response letter explaining how each comment has been addressed.
Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers for further evaluation until the editor is satisfied that all scientific and editorial concerns have been adequately resolved.
A manuscript is accepted for publication only after successfully completing the double-blind peer review process and meeting the journal’s scientific, ethical, and editorial standards. Following acceptance, the manuscript proceeds to copyediting, proofreading, DOI registration, and online publication.
