Post-Publication Discussion

Blockchain Frontier Technology (B-FRONT) encourages constructive academic discussion of published articles to promote transparency, research integrity, and the continuous development of scientific knowledge. The journal welcomes scholarly comments, critiques, questions, and clarifications related to blockchain technology, distributed ledger technology (DLT), Web3, smart contracts, cybersecurity, decentralized systems, and related emerging technologies.

1. Submission of Comments and Discussions

Readers may submit comments or discussions about published articles through the journal's official communication channels. Submissions should identify the article by title, author(s), and DOI or article URL, where available. Comments must be relevant, clearly presented, and supported by appropriate evidence or academic references when necessary.

2. Editorial Assessment

The Editor-in-Chief or a designated editor will assess each submission for relevance, scholarly value, accuracy, supporting evidence, and ethical appropriateness. The Editorial Team may request additional information or invite independent experts to provide advice. Submissions may be considered for publication as a Letter to the Editor or scholarly commentary, subject to editorial assessment and peer review where appropriate.

3. Author Responses

Authors will be given a reasonable opportunity to respond to substantive comments or criticisms concerning their published research. Responses should be clear, respectful, and supported by relevant evidence or academic references. Where appropriate, B-FRONT may publish comments alongside author responses to promote transparency and constructive scholarly dialogue.

4. Ethical Standards for Post-Publication Discussion

All discussions must be professional, objective, evidence-based, and relevant to the published research. B-FRONT does not accept personal attacks, harassment, defamatory statements, discriminatory language, or unsupported allegations. Contributors must respect intellectual property, confidentiality, data protection, and applicable legal requirements when discussing research findings, blockchain systems, or technical documentation.

5. Errors, Research Integrity, and Editorial Action

If a discussion identifies potential errors, unreliable data, plagiarism, misrepresented blockchain implementations, or other research integrity concerns, the Editorial Team will assess the matter under the journal's Publication Ethics policy. Depending on the findings, actions may include clarification, correction, an Expression of Concern, or retraction. Allegations of research misconduct will be handled through the journal's formal procedures, with appropriate consideration of evidence, confidentiality, and the opportunity for relevant parties to respond.

6. Transparency and Commitment

B-FRONT is committed to maintaining transparent, fair, and responsible post-publication discussion. Through constructive academic exchange, the journal seeks to improve the reliability of published research and advance knowledge in blockchain technology, decentralized systems, cybersecurity, and related fields. The journal also supports research contributions to relevant United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), where applicable to the research.
